Elisa Ferracane, a noted artist and designer, began her company in 1979. Since childhood, when her artistic talent became apparent, she has trained
in many disciplines, and has successfully applied her intrinsic ability in such diverse mediums as fabric design, oil painting, sculpture, stained
glass, stone carving and etching and engraving. Her first love, and early training at the Fashion Institute of Technology, prepared her well for her commissions of residential and commercial
interior design.
Her work in business design has earned her several Awards of Excellence in the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Building Competitions. Ms. Ferracane is an allied member in good standing of the American Society of Interior Designers.
To her credit in this field, and an indication of her versatility , is the MARNI Cottage at West Point, involving the restoration
of an 1880's period home; Casa Castellano del Mar, a 1990's comtemprary home with neo-classic lines; and the design and decoration of the Grand
Ballroom of the Waldort Astoria Hotel for the Business and Professional Women's Club Convention.
